Dannielle Mick creates works of art in all mediums. Her art is inspired by the natural world, featuring sea, sky, and landscapes. She likes to maintain a sense of simplicity and finds beauty in every day surroundings . “I try to portray the very essence of nature with careful studied attention to lighting, color and a sense of space. I hope to convey to the viewer a moment in time and an emotional connection. There is a story in the landscape and I enjoy taking something ordinary and making it important.” She describes her work as tonalist inspired by such painters such as George Inness: overcast mornings, misty lake scenes and stormy seas.” My passion is to capture the ever changing seasons in nature.”
